Job Description:
The position of Software Developer has opened up at one of the world’s leading maintenance management software companies, Tero Consulting Ltd. Tero is a BC headquartered software company that helps the world’s largest public and private companies manage their maintenance. Some of our clients include the Province of Alberta, the Government of the Northwest Territory, Boeing, and the California National Guard as well as other world-class organizations. You will be responsible for the programming and development of our software product, under the direction of our Director of IT.
This is a full-time developer position that requires the employee to work at our office.
Some of the duties in this position include:
- Design and development of .Net based web software, running on mainstream PC, tablet, and other mobile device browsers.
- Responsible for database design, generation of stored procedures that are required in the maintenance and development of web software.
- Research and identify new technologies that will enhance existing software and development of new systems.
- Maintain existing software and provide user requested changes and enhancements throughout required change control and ensure the system delivery meets business specifications.
Qualifications we are seeking:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology, or equivalent working experience
- At least 1-year full life-cycle experience using ASP.NET framework (C#)
Required skill(s):
- ASP.NET, C#, XML, CSS, Java script, HTML, Web Service, VBScript
Preferred skill(s):
- AJAX, Strong understanding of, and experience with, Web server (IIS), SQL Server
- Telerik “Kendo UI” Bootstrap
- Mobile development experience
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
